In this sermon, we cover Mark 1:40-2:12, and we see the power of Jesus demonstrated yet again. We will learn that the condition of our hearts is the primary concern, and Jesus gives evidence of his authority to forgive sin by displaying his power over physical sickness.

In today's message, we see Jesus begin the demonstration of his authority on earth. In these verses, we see Jesus show his power over the demonic and physical illness. We also see Jesus withdraw from the business of ministry to be with his Father and draw strength through prayer.
